Online Desk: The World Youth Festival was held in Russia. The festival was held in the country in 2024 following Russian President Vladimir Putin's order to increase international youth cooperation. Mohammad Saiyedul Islam participated in this event with the invitation and funding of the Russian government.

The three-week festival takes place in various regions of Russia, including the city of Sochi on the northeastern coast of the Black Sea. Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the opening and closing ceremonies. The festival is organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation.

In the regional program, Saiyedul Islam received an appreciation certificate from Polischuk Oleg Igorevich, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction, Government of St. Petersburg With Public Organizations in Russia for his active participation and contribution to regional programs in St. Petersburg. Moreover, he served as an international election observer in the eighth presidential election held in Russia. He visited various polling stations in the constituency in St. Petersburg.

Saiyedul Islam is currently studying International Trade major in the Ph.D. program at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in Nanchang City on a Chinese government scholarship. In 2018, he was admitted to the International Business major in the master's program at the same university on a scholarship from the Chinese government for higher education.

Saiyedul Islam, son of Mohammad Lutfor Rahman Barik originally hails from the Narsingdi district.

Besides his studies, he is involved in various social activities as well as a media personnel in China. So far, his good work has been praised by China's influential public and private media, including the local Chinese community.
